Gelato 45 is one of the numbered phenotypes that came out of the original Gelato seeds, nicknamed Michael Jordan by Leafly; Sherbinski listed it among his cuts in 2018, though GreenState’s 2024 list of six official names leaves it out.1,2,3 Its lab sample is small: 19.65% median THC across 53 tests, against 21.58% for Gelato (1,792).4

The numbered cuts

Sherbinski says the seeds produced #25, #33, #41, #45, #47 and #49; #33 is Larry Bird and #41 is Bacio Gelato.2,9 In our lab data, Gelato 33 and Gelato 41 labels sit inside the Gelato count, while Gelato 45 is counted separately (see genetics).4 Jet Fuel Gelato is Gelato 45 × (High Octane × Jet Fuel).9 Gelato 45 has its own guide in the Official Cannabis network at gelato45.com.

Which is easier to find

On Oct 4, 2026, at least 202 stores within 50 miles of Los Angeles listed Gelato flower on Weedmaps, against 3 stores for Gelato 45; around New York the counts were 125 and 1. “At least” marks a market where the search hit its page limit.10
